River Dart Rowing Club

We are a friendly rowing club with rowing boats based in Dartmouth and Kingswear. We presently have over 50 members and have the capacity to accommodate more.

We have a fixed seat section with 3 Seine boats and 2 440 rowing boats and a coastal rowing section with a coastal rowing quad and a two man coastal boat to keep it company. We have a couple of land-based ergometers which members can use and a boathouse on Waterhead Creak.

As a member, you can organise your own rows with other members, or be part of a number of scheduled weekly rows. We have many special events on the water and host social events on the land. If racing is your thing, we regularly compete in the Dartmouth Regatta, Head of the Dart Race and the Great River Race in London. We have even competed in the Ocean to City race in Cork!
